Information and How-To's for Asterisk & The All Star Link Network To be added- Link To ETSNJ Repeater Operating Practices |
Join us every second Wednesday Night of the month at 8:00 PM Eastern Time for our
General Information Net. This net originates on 146.940 MHz
and
is
linked to various other repeaters throughout N.J. including ETSNJ's own
223.960 MHz repeater. At times we are even linked to repeaters located
in other states and countries. The K2ETS General Iinformation Net can also be accessed through the All Star Link Network at Nodes 27273 and 27274. Also, Echolink at Node K2ETS-R 594737. All amateurs are welcome to check in with their call sign and participate. Even if you're just listening, check in with your call sign and state "supporting the net". It's great to know that amateurs are out there and listening also. Typically lasting about an hour, the General Information Net usually consists of amateur radio related information, a ham radio swap & shop, and other various information, sometimes even a brief trivia session . Its also calls on check-ins who can then state their own comments or information. Should you find yourself without a transceiver, out of town or just out of range, the K2ETS Net can be accessed via a computer or even a telephone. Click the Link to the left for more information on this technology. If you are associated with an amteur radio repeater and would like to link your repeater to K2ETS for the Wed Night General Information Net through All Star or Echolink, please CONTACT K2ETS first for information |
